Some sketches I did around Savannah today and yesterday~ Just whipped out my dip pen and ink, and started drawing. No base sketches or anything~
It was relaxing.

When I came back:

Elise made it accurate.
This was an assignment for my Character Design and Storyboarding class. We had to pretend that our favorite TV show was getting canceled, but an animated version was coming out. With that sad thought in mind, we design the characters.
Of course I did Sherlock. My work’s not super amazing, but I generally like it. Maybe I’ll color them when I’m not ZOMG SWAMPED with Finals~
A few of my favorite storyboard stills from my friend’s project. I drew 99 storyboards, and put them together in a video that’s about 1 minute and 20 seconds. It was a pretty massive project that took me a cumulative of 7-10 hours from start to finished video (which is pretty damn good). I thoroughly enjoyed it. I sat down in front of computers and worked for 3-5 hours at a time. Never got tired or annoyed with it. This is what I want to do with my career.
I’ll probably post the movie when I revise it a little more.
I’m extremely proud of my work. I hope Eileen does really well with this and the things that she made~ It’s for the Sequential Art ‘The Pitch’ class at SCAD

Except this isn’t a true story because I don’t clean jack in the bathroom besides the toilet and tub.
But that is an actual picture from our bathroom. I’m proud of my collection. Either Steph or some fairies cleaned up my previous collection a long while ago and I almost cried.
Imagine how much more grand this collection would be if it was untouched.

I can’t even remember what sheets I have on my bed right now. Or what the name of that chef is that I hate on Food Network. Fuckin’ tool.
Seriously, going to SCAD has been the best thing that I’ve ever done. I can’t believe how much I’ve improved. I really couldn’t have done all of this by myself, especially with about a cumulative 11-12 months here.
I went from crap like this:

To works like this:

I still make mistakes, and I’m far from perfect. But now I have a much better chance of making it out there in the working world. I’ve gained more self-esteem, and made some long-lasting connections with people here. I still have a lot of work to do. But I’ve already done so much in such a short time.
Even with the loans I will be paying in about 1 1/2 years, I will never say that going to SCAD wasn’t worth it.
